Flight Safety

Promoting Aviation Safety is a top priority for the Oregon State Flying Club and is listed explicitly as one of the corporations purposes in the bylaws.

Conducting a safe flight rests on having the skills to fly and navigate an airplane, the knowledge of planning the flight, and the judgment to make good in-flight decisions.

OSFC club members take a proficiency check with a flight instructor every 6 months to ensure that skills and knowledge don't get too rusty.
